Applications must include all of the following supporting documents:

• a copy of the correctly paid invoice, attesting to the purchase and, where applicable, installation of the charging station; 
• if the beneficiary owns the location at which the private charging station is installed, an extract from the land registry indicating this ownership;
• if the beneficiary is not the owner of the location at which the private charging station is installed, a copy of the lease contract or an attestation of availability for the location of the charging station for which the subsidy is requested.

Applications for obtaining financial aid must be submitted no later than 12 months after the last invoice was issued in connection with the investment.

The application should be submitted to the Environmental administration via a form:

• part to be completed by the applicant requesting aid
• part to be completed by the company in charge of carrying out the installation work of the charging point.

No, a pedelec25 does not have to be registered with the SNCA, because legally there is no difference between a pedelec25 and a conventional bicycle (unlike a pedelec45).

The operator of a facility – in this case, you as an individual – is liable for the construction and operation of the facility in compliance with the applicable provisions and for all damages that may result therefrom. You should therefore check carefully that the drilling documents are complete. These should include:

the completed pressure test form as proof of the tightness of the geothermal probe once the probe has been placed (ask the drilling company if this report complies with VDI Guideline 4640);
the complete drilling report.

• The size of the installation must be calculated in accordance with VDI (Association of German Engineers) Guideline 4640. Ask your chosen drilling company for information on this subject.
  In addition, you can also have a heat load calculation and a geological survey carried out in order to establish the sizing.
• You must ensure that you have obtained all necessary permits before the works start.
• The exact date of the start of drilling must then be notified to the water management authority in advance. Ensure that the drilling company and the installer coordinate their schedules.
• Plan appropriate access to the site in advance.

You have the right to consume electricity that you produce yourself, but you must comply with the connection conditions set by the relevant grid operator. These relate mainly to the safety of the electrical installation and the operation of the grid. For more information, please contact your electricity distribution grid operator.

Are you a member of an existing cooperative that does not yet have a photovoltaic installation, but which meets the conditions to benefit from an electricity purchase (comprising at least 7 people, a non-profit organisation or foundation)? You then have the possibility of convening an extraordinary general meeting in order to discuss extending the scope of activity to include electricity production.

If you do not have the option of installing your own photovoltaic system or if you want to invest in a sustainable future, then you may be interested in joining an existing energy cooperative.

For information on admission requirements, contact the cooperative in question directly. It is usually necessary to send a formal application to the relevant board of directors and, once approved, to acquire at least one share in the existing cooperative.
