A request must be sent to the Environmental administration together with the following documents:

• the application form (download the form from Guichet.lu);
• the paid invoice on which the following information must be listed:
• the applicant's first name and surname
• the type of vehicle
• the purchase price excluding VAT;
• the vehicle registration certificate;
• the certificate of conformity (COC) of the vehicle;
• for a legal entities, a copy of a document issued by the electricity supplier proving that the applicant requesting the aid has subscribed, before the date of submission of the application, to a contract for the supply of green electricity from 100% renewable sources;
• a copy of the contract of sale of the vehicle, if the date of conclusion of the contract of sale is between 11 May 2020 and 31 March 2022 inclusive or if the vehicle is put into service for the first time between 1 April 2021 and 31 December 2022 inclusive.

If the applicant is a legal entity, the application can be submitted no earlier than seven months after first registration

No, in order to be eligible for State aid, the vehicle must be new.

A vehicle is considered new if it was registered in the name of the applicant for financial aid no later than 6 months after the first registration of the vehicle.
 

No, there is no restriction as to the place of purchase of the 100% electric vehicle of the type: quadricycle, motorcycle, light motorcycle (125 cm3 or moped, including scooter and pedelec45).

However, the first registration of the vehicle must be in Luxembourg and the vehicle must remain registered in Luxembourg for at least seven months in the name of the applicant who received the grant.

The grant of up to €1,000 is limited to the following 100% electric vehicles:

• motorcycle;
• light motorcycle (125 cm3);
• moped (scooter and pedelec45)
