Klimapakt fir Betriber

Launch conference

 - 10 january 2023

In response to the climate emergency and the current energy crisis, the government is launching the "Klimapakt fir Betriber" programme to guide Luxembourgish companies in this situation.

The "Klimapakt fir Betriber" initiative, managed by Luxinnovation and Klima-Agence, aims to support companies in terms of their decarbonization efforts and an overall energy transition through a structured and coordinated approach. The launch conference on the 10th of January 2023 will introduce companies to the main objectives as well as the current operational and financial measures they can implement and benefit from.

At the launch event, the Minister for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, Lex Delles, the Minister for Economy, Franz Fayot, the Minister for Energy and Spatial Planning, Claude Turmes, and the Minister for the Environment, Climate and Sustainable Development, Joëlle Welfring, will address the importance of the 'Klimapakt fir Betriber' and further explain the government's current commitments.

The second half of the day will be devoted to themed sessions, offering a detailed overview of the concrete steps available to companies to respond to the climate- and energy challenges.
