Solar energy production

Making the most of my production with battery storage

Thanks to my solar installation, I generate my own electricity, which I can consume in real time or later using a home battery.

When and why should you use a home battery for electricity storage?

A home battery is a device that stores electricity for later use, particularly in the evening during peak consumption hours or at night when photovoltaic (solar) panels no longer produce electricity. It can also be used to share excess electricity within an energy sharing group or serve as a backup power supply in the event of a grid outage.
Other applications are also possible, such as operating with dynamic electricity tariffs or reducing costs linked to network charges by avoiding power peaks. Home batteries are usually compact and suitable for residential use. Larger storage batteries also exist, such as neighbourhood batteries or those designed for commercial and industrial applications.
