Kick-off for sustainable renovation projects for residential buildings

Klima-Agence, in collaboration with the municipality of Niederanven, is helping homeowners to undertake energy-efficient renovation of their homes by 2025.

From March to December 2025, homeowners will receive support to help them undertake a home insulation project and reduce their energy consumption over the long term.

An analysis of residential buildings in Niederanven shows that 1,410 homes built before 1996 have significant potential for energy improvements. Around 80% of these houses fall into 15 characteristic building types, including bungalows, single-family homes with converted attics, and historic farmhouses. For these houses, Klima-Agence has defined tailored, ready-to-use energy efficiency measures, including:

  • roof / attic insulation
  • façade insulation
  • basement ceiling insulation
  • window replacement
  • ventilation systems with heat recovery.

These solutions are designed to meet the specific needs of different building types while ensuring easy implementation.

Support from Klima-Agence and collaboration with the municipality of Niederanven

Klima-Agence supports homeowners throughout the process. A dedicated contact person, the district manager, is available to assist participants, from the initial consultation to the implementation of insulation measures and the application for financial subsidies. In addition to a detailed analysis of available subsidies – including Klimabonus state subsidies and municipal grants – Klima-Agence helps participants to plan their financing and choose the appropriate measures.
