On Tuesday, the ‘Niederanven insulates now!’ campaign successfully launched with a kick-off event at the ‘A Schommesch’ cultural centre. The focus was on showcasing the initiative, which provides homeowners practical solutions for renovating their homes to enhance energy efficiency and thus reduce their energy costs in the long term.
‘Niederanven insultes now’ is part of the further development of the project Zesumme renovéieren and offers an interesting opportunity to benefit from a personalized support at every stage of the renovation process.
Participants received an initial insight to potential insulation measures and the personalised advice offered by Klima-Agence.
Discover the building types in the municipality of Niederanven
The ‘Niederanven insulates now!’ campaign runs from March to December 2025. During this period, homeowners will be accompanied and supported by the neighbourhood manager and the adviser of Klima-Agence , if they wish to improve the energy efficiency of their home through insulation measures and reduce their energy consumption on a long-term basis.
To this end, Klima-Agence, in collaboration with an external provider, has analysed the housing in Niederanven in preparation for the ‘Niederanven insulates now!’ campaign. 1,450 homes were built before 1996 and offer considerable potential for energy improvements. Around 75% of the houses can be classified into 14 typical building types, including bungalows and historic farmhouses.
Klima-Agence has developed specific building typologies for this purpose, with the relevant information for the different building types in the municipality.
