Sharing solar-generated electricity as a business

Self-consumption of photovoltaic electricity

Firstly, a business can consume the electricity produced by its own photovoltaic system itself. If, in addition to individual self-consumption, it wishes to make the electricity it produces available to or share it with other consumers, it can do so in the context of collective self-consumption (within the same building, for example) or in an energy community. This allows energy to be shared or sold between different partners, such as neighbouring businesses.

In some cases, the principle of collective self-consumption or the energy community makes it possible to avoid the costs of using the electricity network, which means that sharing can be a financial advantage both for the business and for those with whom you share yours electricity.
