Understanding the transition period of the Klimabonus financial subsidy scheme for your photovoltaic installation

17/12/25 - News

From the 5th of January, the Klimabonus state subsidies will change with the implementation of the new legislation (subject to final adoption of the law).

This extends the current scheme by one year and introduces new subsidies for photovoltaic installations and domestic batteries, with greater consideration given to the size and power of the installations.

How does the pre-financing of a solar installation work?

Under the new Klimabonus subsidy scheme, pre-financing allows you to install your photovoltaic system without having to pay the full cost upfront. The subsidy is deducted directly from the final invoice, and the installer is subsequently reimbursed by the Ministry of Economy. This reduces your initial investment and simplifies the administrative process, as it is handled by the installer.
